Pet Tip September 2011

Pet idea of the month of September

We all know to take pictures of our kids and our belongings. Do you have a current picture of your pet? Take a picture of your pet, you will need an up close picture to show any markings and even another one to show the whole body of the pet., and of course a face shot.

Now we all have pictures, but be sure to print them off, add them to your document kit, 72 hour kits etc.
Write down all your pets features, breed, weight, age, be sure to have shot records, and license information.

If you have pictures of your pet in your kits, update them as well. A good reminder to remember when to up date the pets picture is the same time as school starts, and the kids are getting there school photos taken.

If you need to take your pet to a pet shelter during an Emergency or you need to board them for anytime, be sure to take a picture to give the people doing the intake of your pet.
